What is Recovery Mode?

Recovery Mode (Recovery Menu) is an independent, lightweight runtime environment that is included on a separate partition (Section of the hard drive) from the main Android operating system on all Android devices like mobiles and tablets, etc.

You can boot directly into the recovery menu and use it to factory reset your device, reboot system, delete the cache partition, and apply software updates or firmware updates, etc.

Options in Recovery Mode

Reboot System option is used to reboot your Android phone. Reboot close all your running applications and restart your mobile. No data will be deleted or wiped with this option. Reboot process speeds up your mobile and clears some cache memory.

Wipe Data option is used to Wipe or format data on your Android device. This will remove media files, apps, contacts, and settings, etc from your Kyocera smartphone. You don’t need any password to use this option.

Install Update option is used to install software or firmware from phone memory or SD card. You can upgrade to the latest version with this option. You need to download and place the firmware file on phone memory or SD card before using this option. Some mobiles have the option to downgrade to a lower version.

Enter into Recovery Mode on Kyocera

Entering into Recovery mode is very easy on Kyocera Android Phone. Recovery menu includes Reboot system, Wipe data, install an update, system repair mode, power down and advanced options, etc.

Here are the methods available to enter into recovery mode.

Method – 1

  • First, Switch off your Kyocera Android mobile, by holding the power button.
  • After that, hold down the
    • Volume Up + Power button 
    • Volume Down + Power button 
  • When you see the Logo on the screen, release all the buttons.
  • Done, Now You are in Kyocera Android phone Recovery Mode.

Note: If you do not go to recovery mode automatically after releasing all buttons do this. While holding down the Power button press and release Volume Up Button Or Press the Power Button {Camera Button} once.

Method – 2

  • First, Switch off your Kyocera Android mobile, by holding the power button.
  • After that, Hold down the
    • Volume Down +  Power Button
    • Volume Up + Power Button.
    • Volume Up + Home + Power button
    • Volume Up + Bixby+ Power button
  • When you see the Logo screen, release all the buttons.
  • Next, you will see Android exclamation mark.
  • While holding down the Power button press and release Volume Up Button.
  • Done, Now You are in Kyocera Android phone Recovery Mode.

Method – 3

  • First, you should turn off your Kyocera Android mobile.
  • Hold Down the
    • Volume Up + Power button 
    • Volume Down + Power button
  • Please try above all steps one by one, Until you will see Logo appears on your screen.
  • Keep holding the Volume Up Button until the Recovery Mode.
  • Afterward, Select language, Use Volume Buttons to scroll down and Confirm with the power button.
  • After that, Select Recovery Option.
  • Done, Now You are in Kyocera Android phone Recovery Mode.

Method – 4

  • First, Switch off your Kyocera Android mobile, by holding the power button.
  • After that, hold down the
    • Volume Up + Power button 
    • Volume Down + Power button
  • When you see the download mode screen, release all the buttons.
  • Afterward, Select reboot boot loader, Use Volume Buttons to scroll down and Confirm with the power button.
  • Choose BOOT TO RECOVERY MODE option.
  • Now You will see Triangle.
  • While holding down the Power button press and release Volume Up Button.
  • Done, Now You are in Kyocera Android phone Recovery Mode.

Exit Recovery mode on Kyocera

Does your Kyocera Android mobile stuck at recovery mode and do you want to exit from it, Here is the solution for it.

  • After you enter into Recovery Mode menu.
  • Then Select Reboot System option, using Volume buttons and press the Power button to confirm.
  • Next, Your device will be rebooted automatically.
  • You have successfully exited from Recovery mode

Please note: You can also exit from recovery menu by press and hold power button for a while.
